Heart Surgeries

Cardiac surgery is often an essential medical procedure for restoring good quality of life and even for saving lives. Prior to making the decision to undergo surgery it is important to consult with Cardioheal’s doctors (cardiac surgeons and cardiologist), who are experts at treating such medical problems. Together, you will be able to discuss the various types of heart surgery procedures and possible treatments, including the advantages and disadvantages of each one of these possibilities, thus providing tailor-made treatment that is suited to your needs. The Cardioheal team has great experience in performing cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgical procedures, including valve-related surgery, coronary artery bypass grafting, aortic surgery for the treatment of atrial fibrillation and all kinds of thoracic and vascular surgery.

Surgical procedures carried out by the Cardioheal team of surgeons are performed under strict supervision at the private Assuta hospital. Based on the medical decision agreed upon by you and your surgeon following your consultation, the procedure could be done by using a traditional technique, including open-heart surgery, or by newer methods which would include a minimally-invasive laparoscopic technique, while performing coronary angioplasty. The recovery process takes place during the hospital stay under the close supervision and guidance of the Cardioheal staff, who will offer help and advice throughout the initial recuperation period.

For more information on the considerations and options, the preparation, the type of surgical procedure you will undergo, and the recovery process, please refer to the specific pages which describe each type of cardiac intervention. In addition, we encourage you to schedule a private consultation with a Cardioheal expert in order to receive the best possible answers to your individual medical needs.
