Dr. Dudi Mishaly

Cardiothoracic Surgeon

A specialist in the field of cardiothoracic surgery, Dr. Mishaly is a graduate of the Hebrew University Medical School in Jerusalem.

He specialized in cardiothoracic surgery at Rabin Medical Center. In the years 1996-1997 he underwent clinical fellowship in cardiac surgery at Cleveland Clinic under the supervision of Dr. Mee, and at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) under the supervision of Dr. Hanley.

Dr. Mishaly specialized in cardiac surgery for congenital defects and complexed repairs in neonates and infants. He developed the field of cardiac surgery in children using minimal invasive approach. In 1999 Dr. Mishaly founded the cardiac surgery unit at the Edmond and Lily Safra Children's Hospital in Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, and since then he runs this unit.

Dr. Mishaly lectures at Tel Aviv University, has published numerous articles in the local and international medical literature, and is the author of some chapters in cardiac surgery literature. He is responsible for many clinical and laboratory researches in the field of cardiac surgery.
